      The department assists the Director in running the Institute. Administrative Section deals with the routine administrative  matters pertaining to the all categories of staff as well as services.  
 
     Special Achievement- Institute was awarded with letter of Commendation and Rs 50 Lakh prize under Kaya Kalp for excellence in promoting cleanliness, hygiene and Infection control for the year 2019-20 on 12/01/2021 by Dr Harsh Vardhan, Minister of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India

     During the year, several initiatives were taken to observe Independence Day, Republic Day, International Nurses Day, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Week and Pakhwada and Vigilance Awareness Week and Hindi Pakhwada. Competition for Hindi Awareness and Usage in regular administration was conducted during Hindi Pakhwada and prizes were distributed. During Vigilance week, an oath was administered to the staff of the Institute to maintain the integrity and honesty in public service. The Institute Foundation Day and World TB Day could not be celebrated due to the COVID pandemic and the lockdown in the country which prohibited the gatherings, seminars etc.
 
     Medical and General Stores carried out regular updation, maintenance and monitoring of stocks, Hospital Information System installed for OPD patients is being used regularly.
 
       The maintenance Section of the Administration carried out various renovation works especially the repair and refurbishing of all hospital beds and bedside lockers for efficient and safe patient care in the wards. Old water pumping motors and pipe lines were replaced. All the water tanks were cleaned with advanced mechanical equipments. 
 
     The Accounts Section maintains all the accounts as well as takes care of the finance planning of the Institute in consultation with the Administration under the supervision of Director. The accounts of the Institute get audited regularly as per the guidelines.
 
     Bio Medical Waste (BMW) in- charge updated the entire infrastructure required for better BMW management in the hospital. Trainings of all the staffs were organized on newer BMW guidelines. New Autoclave Machine was procured for the CSSD.
