National Institute of Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases (NITRD) is a 470 bedded Respiratory diseases hospital of international repute providing state of art quality Medical and Thoracic Surgical treatment services for Tuberculosis & all other respiratory diseases since 1956.

 

NITRD hospital laundry services are responsible for providing safe, clean, adequate and timely supply linen to user unit of hospital at right time, right price and right place. Laundry services at NITRD have been outsourced to ensure quality services to the patients. We have state of art laundry machines installed at a separate block with different entry and exit points to carry out work as per infection control guidelines. All the machines are under CMC with M/S IFB.

 

 Laundry receive all the linen material from different area like wards, OT, OPD and ICU where we undergo process of sorting, washing, extracting, drying, ironing, folding, mending and delivery.

 

For hospital it is very important for adequate supply of clean linen sufficient for comfort and safety of patient and appearance.
