Apart from the above routine services, the Department of Pathology participates in research projects and studies within the institute and in collaboration with other organizations.
The Haematology section participates in ISHTM-AIIMS- External Quality Assurance Programme.
A Museum with mounted surgically resected specimens and photographs of interesting cases covering the full spectrum of lung pathology has also been developed.
The department contributes to teaching and training activities for Doctors, Paramedical personnel, and Nursing staff.
Department of Pathology actively publishes Research papers and scientific articles.
